I was happy to win the Cobb Bat On 4.5 for a price I thought reasonable. I was tempted by the 3, as it looked like a cross-over candidate, but I figured there has to be a reason it's graded like that, so little chance of a PSA bump.
Side note: does it feel like Hunt, and sometimes, Huggins, are a little "flea-markety?" I don't mean this in a pejorative way - it's just that they sell a little of everything, and sometimes you have to do little digging to find the diamonds in the rough. Like you just might find a nice 33 Goudey Ruth on the last page of the catalog right after a lot of 1990 Fleer boxes. Kind of makes it fun. |
