Mounted Memories, Schwartz, and Steiner have been made aware and they don't seem to want to comment on the issue. Obviously, if they agree that there are fake COAs in the marketplace then that pretty much ruins their business. I assume that these fake COA's are one of the reasons that Steiner has started to switch over to serial numbered hologram stickers and an online database.
At this point, I won't buy any Mounted Memories or Schwartz Sports items that have one of the old style hologram stickers that do not have a searchable serial number. I still will buy Steiner, as they are not as prevalent. BTW, Happy Father's Day to all of my fellow Dads on the board!! |
