Current top 4 cards that PWCC is selling. A couple of Aaron Rookies and a 58 Mantle just missed the cut. Look forwarded in seeing the final price and I think its long overdue with the card market compared to other markets (Coins, Art, Cars, etc..)

I would take a nice CJ Jackson over the Goudey Lajoie for sure. And you can still pick up a nice 75 Brett PSA 8 in the 300 range.

This oversized Jackson was mine at one point. I had it graded and sold it on ebay years ago. The buyer put it in a REA auction and made a huge return. Wish I still had it.

That Jackson is gonna end up right around 75k.. Good for that guy.
For fun: Best long term investment for sinking 6k into: (Disclaimer: the grades will vary with the cards of course to fit the budget) CJ JJ (ripped) 48 leaf Paige 33 Goudey Ruth 34 Goudey Gehrig 14/15 CJ Cobb Interested to see some thoughts: |

I think the Gehrig and Ruth would be the only two you could buy at $6k

I bet you could find the CJs and Paige in the 1 range for around 6k, but I don't know about their investment potential. The real low grade cards don't tend to move as much. I would find the nicest Ruth you could find personally. Maybe a yellow 4. Or a red or 144 4-5 if they're still available at 6k.

Shows how I have so much more to learn...
I would have bet anything that the responses would have been "get the paige" if you can find it. I didn't have the 33 goudey ruth pegged to make the top 3. I guess the 33 goudey with him batting is the way to go? Thanks! Last edited by Joshwesley; 06-09-2016 at 09:42 AM. |
