This event is great, and growing every year! Can barely wait the six months between WSSCA shows.
Going to be a busy week. For those baseball historians in the Seattle area: The Northwest African American Museum will host a reading/presentation of "Darkhorse: The Jimmy Claxton Story" on Thursday June 2 at 7pm to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his integration of professional baseball (May 28). The presentation will last 40-45 minutes followed by a 20-25 minute Q&A. There will be quite a few photos and Claxton related stories, that are not available in the book. I'd like to thank the WSSCA for the opportunity to share his story at their monthly meeting in April. See you all Sunday
