yes, it was a quick flip for the seller, as 707 had the card listed for $3000 a mere two months ago.

it was definitely a top tier 7, imo.

everyone keeps expecting this bubble to pop.

maybe it will. maybe it wont...

i think it's simply come to the fact that the:

nuttiest presidential election is coming.
stock market sucks.
housing market certainly isn't on fire.
60 minutes just aired a segment last night of an $80mil art scam.
it's not like there are a ton of safe places to park money right now.

what?

are ya gonna stick your money in a cd or money market at a whopping 2%?

look at what's avail on the koufax rc...

it's all 5s or under and all those are mc/oc/pd.

people said the same thing about the aaron 7 a year ago about all the same scenarios. the pricing, the fact that there are so many of them, the surge.
everything.

now they are pretty much all put away.

and there certainly isn't one avail on ebay right now. maybe 4 have surfaced in the past 4 months....

could it be that people have certainly realized that there are really only so many psa/sgc 7s (that are actually worth a ____ ) that are avail or will actually become avail after all of this. again, consider the aaron 7.

maybe the sky really isn't falling.

maybe im wrong.

let's check back in 6 months and see.

Is insurance included in that shipping cost? $40 seems rather excessive.

In terms of investment opportunities being relatively unattractive, there is nothing new or unique about today. I don't think the world has just discovered baseball cards. I think something much more specific is going on, driven by not that many people.

Cards don't double in two weeks, IMO, because of simple market forces. Carry on though.
