this 1952 Topps Hoot Evers card really worth about $250...2 guys putting in sick bids....they did this with #201 card as well.....its a shame its put on VCP

When I really really really want a card, I will sometimes enter a LARGE snipe. I have seen the term 'NUCLEAR' snipe used. I now see what happens when another man thinks the same way...........when two big bids collide, hahahahaha.

High end high grade 52s like Mantle and Mays have tripled in value over the last year or two. Maybe common 8s and 9s are catching up. I have not studied the market data at all, but we will soon find out if sales like this become the norm.
