Thanks, some very interesting history here. It looks like a number of major league players may have been replaced by minor leaguers in print runs with certain backs, thus resulting in short prints of both.
I assume that team updates, variations, etc for a given player would result in the same total number of cards for that player and the card is updated in subsequent printings, or perhaps for certain backs. Any other theories on whether the entire print run for a player with a team update (combining both teams) would be the same as most other players without any team updates or variations? Best, Ed |
