There are 96 in the Complete Set - the Low Numbers 1-48 & the slightly tougher High Numbers, 49-96.
There are a few short prints that can be QUITE tough to find, too, but I have never taken this set on so I don't know HOW difficult they really are. I'm sure SOMEONE here collects them and can give you a better answer about how challenging this set is tho... As for grading, MY OPINION is if you are keeping the card for the longer term - don't get it graded yet. It's ALWAYS enjoyable to FEEL the card, esp since you know it is the real deal. You can always use it to compare with other cards that may have questionable authenticity, size, etc. (Although I would use a common for that...) If you want to do it for protection or insurance or re-sale or so your wife(?), kids(?) know what it is just in case - by all means get it graded.
