I also purchased 33 of the 49 cards in the 1949 Leaf set (67% complete). When I got home from the show I broke out the Standard Catalog, and here is how the description of this set starts:
"The 1949 Leaf issue is quite possibly the stupidest of what is considered the major football issues". HaHa I'm not kidding right there on page 95! Bent creased trimmed mostly paid $1.50 to $3 each ![]() ![]()
