Chris, Not looking to start up with you, but PSA has been known (once a year?? ) to make a mistake. And I could be wrong but when it comes to these unusual items, I would go with Leon over PSA.

This stamp has been known to show Marquard for at least five years, so yes, it seems that word spreads slowly. I'm certain there is a thread or two discussing it in this very forum. Both PSA and PWCC should know better--not sure about the seller in Leon's link, who seems to be relying on PSA, PWCC and the Standard Catalog.

It seems at least one large dealer will stand by the description as "Ruth". Of course I couldn't disagree more but let's see what our members say with a poll.....Marquard or Ruth....

It clearly is not him, nor could it ever be him under any circumstances seeing as this image is clearly identified as Marquard.
