I have a Columbus senators ticket I would like to find out a date on. It had come from a scrapbook from the 1908-10 but I'm not sure.

I believe that you have the correct era for your ticket.
My first impression was it was from around 1905 or so based on other baseball tickets from pre-1910 that I have seen- NY Giants, Red Sox, etc. |

thanks for the reply and you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find Columbus senators items from this time period and before.

scott I was wondering why the word base ball was spelled that way? it was my understanding that they stopped using base ball in the late 1800's.

Note the use of the words Base Ball on this Philadelphia A's ticket from 1905. Nice pickup, BTW. Congrats! Last edited by Scott Garner; 11-11-2015 at 06:51 PM. |

Maybe research the Trademark symbol on the ticket. See what other tickets from that time frame have that same mark, not sure if that could be done or not, my 1 cent.
