On your '92 pack, it the packaging wax or plastic?
As far as dealers calling them wax boxes, I think 'wax' was just a general term used to describe the boxes. I still call them 'wax' boxes even today. Just this past weekend, I picked up a couple 2015 'wax boxes' and the dealer knew exactly what I meant when I asked for them. I don't open much past '92 - I'm just keeping them unopened and put away.

I believe the 1992 Wax Pack is more like a cello pack. It appears to be a plastic material. I just need to figure out if PSA will allow Wax, and Foil packs in there 1990-1999 unopened set registry. I will contact them. Wanted to have my ducks in a row before I started asking questions.
