Funny story, I won that same card in a poker game almost 20 years ago. The guy (didn't know him well) lost a lot of money and asked me if I wanted his Ted Williams card for $1000. I told him I'd give him $200 for it. He was pissed and threatened to rip the card up before he'd sell it for $200. Long story short he ended up selling it to me for $200. About five years ago I had it graded (PSA 5 I think) and sold it for $140 a short time after that. Great story!
