Are they blank backed? Could they have been cut off of some type of spiral binder ? They do look like the early 50's Bowman . Interesting .Hope someone can help . Brett

They are blank backed.
There are lines at the bottom of a couple of them. You can see it on the Alvin Dark and Gil Hodges. I'll be honest though. I can't be sure these were hand cut despite being poorly cut. The size on each card is pretty much the same and I would think if they were cut that poorly by hand, the size would vary a little bit. A few of the poses, but not all, are similar to either 1952 or 1953 Bowman.
