To me it seems you were right on your mention of a printing flaw because the leaf isn't fully filled in and it seems to spill over into the middle as well.
This does bring up something I always wonder about: do you guys think the printers ever "signed" the cards they made? For example, by making small additions, such as to this leaf, that would only be evident to them so they knew which cards they actually made? |

Just a guess but I think you will only find one with that particular filled leaf
on the same subject as the one Scot has. There are a few Evers similar to the one Bryan posted but not as severe although the SGC has the same crop mark. It may be possible to find a Willis (Port) with the same mark as Evers. |
