The balls in question were only used in the first half of the championship game and the Colts used the same balls. No issues with any Super Bowl balls. There was less public outcry over the Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice situations than this one. People hate the Patriots and will continue to do so regardless of the storyline. I am not a Patriots fan but I do think enough is enough, time to move on.

I think that perception is due to the sensitivity of the offenses. It easier and more accepted to make fun of and joke about cheating in a football game than to poke fun at child abuse and domestic violence. People that show their outcry by poking fun don't know how to show their outcry when it is a more sensitive subject and may shy away from it.

I think the ring is a funny joke, but it works just as well as a social media meme rather than paying $50 for the ring and any more actions associated with it.

And on another note the Seattle Seahawks decided against giving their players NFC championship necklaces. All of the samples came back too small and management was afraid they would choke - again.......

I like the joke. But for 750 he should be able to do a LOT better than that sorry piece of ................Nah, I won't say it maybe he's 10 or has problems and it's the best he could manage.

I did check in the team licensed stuff section of Target to see if there was a package of inflation needles with a Pats logo. I figured if they had some they'd be cheap enough to risk sending for an autograph. (And I'm a pats fan)No luck there, someone must make them.

I imagine with solder, or glue, or a glue gun, it would be inexpensive to make your own needle ring.

That's true. I'm also a member of a makerspace (A co-op shop thing with different stuff, everything from a leather shop to 3-D printers) I could 3D print one, or even have one of the people that has done jewelery cast one for me.

But where's the fun in that?

Oh, wait. That would be fun.........
