Sounds like a reality show "When Autographs Go Bad"...I'd say it's too much of a risk...you'd probably be lucky to just get the ball back without Willy's sig...

I remember once at work I had a golf book by Sam Snead I was hoping to get him to sign...As I recall I showed it to his son Sam Snead Jr. and said I was hoping to get his dad to sign it...he goes...oh I can sign it just like my dad here let me have it...and he signed it big as day right across the cover...what could I do scold him...I just thanked him and acted like I was grateful..ugh!...pretty much ruined that book!

I've run into Willy twice...each time he was gruff...Above is a link to an old thread about the time I escorted him to his room...Now Joe DiMaggio...there's a guy that cared about his autograph...link below to another old thread that details it
