You do, it's really not that hard.
If you were near Boston I'd say come by the makerspace I'm a member of and we could make you one a bit nicer. The one in the pics is around 10 years old and I've gotten a lot better. The one shown can be duplicated pretty closely using just simple hand tools. The only hard part is tapering the legs and that's easy on a tablesaw. The rest is just doweled and glued. I'd do mortise and tennon joints now, and even that isn't really difficult. Steve B |
