He was a great player and should be in the HOF.
IMO he, like several from his era, are left out due to the steroids inflated offensive stats immediately upon his retirement making his accomplishments seem less. Now, in hind site of the steroid era, we can look back on his statistics and appreciate how great he was. I hope the veteran's committee votes him in one day.
