Bowman states 240 cards when there actually was 252.

I also notice the Luckey Strike LS/MFT ad from the Geezer Quiz!

great ad stuff....and I copied this from the front page...so this thread is in both places. I know some of our post-war members mainly post over here.....

Maybe they referred to a 240 card set since the 1949 set had 240, using twelve reworked variations that year from the lower numbers? Who knows? Good find though.
