Default Mike...

Mike,

11 cards shy is just fantastic. May, I ask how long it has taken you to assemble this near masterpiece? Also, what was the largest block of cards you have been able to purchase in one shot?

As a side note, for years I didn't see too many of the t209-2's floating around and here lately I have seen quite a few come to market. Cycle, I guess.

One final question. Do you know of any board members who also collect this set and have one of those 11 you need? You are way too close, my friend.

Hope all is well and thanks for sharing that info -

JeRamie

Jeremy,

Thanks for the kind words. I don't know of anyone who has one of the eleven I need, but maybe there are a few out there in cyberspace.

It has taken me six years to put this set together. I was "stuck" at @170 cards until I acquired a near set this summer. In the acquisition there were multiple cards that had eluded me, as well as many upgrades. Because these cards are so scarce, whenever one you need comes to market, you acquire it no matter the condition, so it was nice to upgrade a number of cards. It was a once-in-a-lifetime deal, and I jumped on it. The wife still thinks I'm crazy!

You can visit my website, http://t209-contentnea.com, and see lots of the cards and learn more about them. Given your interest in southern league players, it's a natural read for you.

All best,
Mike
