The realization that folks who find "nothing" an interesting thread topic speaks volumes about the intellectual curiosity and moral fiber of cardboard recyclers.

Watching The Jackie Robinson Story. I recorded it tonight. I saw the DVD in a store a few years ago for $1, and I bought it.

Why is it I am 100 times more likely to watch something when it is on television than I am to watch it on dvd?

Because we're addicted to the remote. Difference between men and women - Women want to know what's on TV. Men want to know what ELSE is on TV.

Default Carl Hubbell - Detroit Tigers

I have always found it interesting that Carl Hubbell was in the Detroit Tigers organization for a short time. He pitched in the minors for them and was invited to spring training in 1926 and again in 1927. Ty Cobb & the Tigers weren't impressed with his screwball and told him not to use it. They sold him in 1928 and the rest is history. Screwed up on that one.

Running with Ruben's Seinfeld theme.

They're real, and they're spectacular.
