I did a search on BaseballResearch.com for any player with the last name of White playing for the New York Giants during the years mentioned, 1891-1921 and found none. That isn't absolute however, since there are several players whose names are followed with question marks indicating that information may be 'iffy'. Also, it was very common, in those years, for players to use aliases - Jim Thorpe, for one, even though that is clearly not him in the photo. |
