I think the episode you might be thinking about was an appraisal of a group of non-sport cards in Philadelphia in 2006.
Here is the link: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/roadshow/archive/200605A05.html These appear to be Virginia Brights based on the second photo, but I can't tell what type of boxes these are in the first photo. Here are some pics of the hoard of cards this lady brought in that were stored in the original boxes.
