Leon, I think you are correct that that is the issue, the ipad does not allow you to specify the name of an image in the camera roll. As an alternative, rather than post the picture as an attachment, you could just upload multiple pictures into your album and then embed the different URLs in your post. I didn't have any issue when I tried it this way.
