I think the above, along with a scary clown picture, would make a great business card for Jizmo. But I'm still un-friending him.

Not me. I'm scared of clowns, particularly sad clowns. I am even more scared of sad clowns who call others ass-clowns. Don't think I'll be bidding on anything soon.

Krusty: Hey kids, welcome to Krusty's Komedy Klassics...K-K-K, ohhh, that can't be good.

Sean and Gizmo- hey we get it, you two don't like each other. No reason for the rest of us to be subjected to this crap. Take it outside.

Default Sean Bassik cards AKA CCC Cards,Coins,Collctibles BEWARE BAD WANT TO BE DEALER!!!!!!!

If I wanted to ruin my name in the hobby, I would do the same thing DICKY does. I would private message anyone and everyone who crossed me. I would call them names, and type in caps only. What an idiot! Your grave is already dug past 6 feet, DICKY. When will you learn? Everyone here is against you. Wake up!

I know Im overly cynical, but Im starting to think Sean revived this Gizmo character for exposure and sympathy. Its hard to imagine a real person being this......I don't even know the words Im looking for here.

Kudos to you Sean.

Agreed. I am in between True Detective and Game of Thrones, and in need of a fix. This is just what the doctor ordered!

As an aside, let me say that Sean is, in my personal opinion, one of the good guys on the forum. I've enjoyed his commentary on Net 54, and hope that his business venture as a dealer continues to be a great success. Though I have not yet done business with him, I would not hesitate for a second to do so. He also went out of his way to offer me assistance in searching for a new scanner. His help came unsolicited, and was greatly appreciated. He has been an active, positive contributor on our forum, thusly, he has earned a little leeway when speaking out. His name is clearly provided in his posts, and Leon and the moderators have seen fit to allow him to speak without censorship.

As for this other person,

You come across as quite sad. Oh, I don't know if his posts on our forum have quite yet sunken to the level of having family members come to sing your praises like on Youtube (perhaps we can anticipate their imminent arrival here? Oh, please say they're coming! Oh please please please...unless those were alternate accounts the Dick-meister concocted in order to sing his own praises). But Gizmossportscards, regardless of the reputation you've earned as a dealer, one which I am not at all familiar with (have at that sentence-fragment, grammar Nazis! ), your incoherent ramblings and unsubstantiated claims here have dropped my opinion of you as low as it could possibly be. If you have a legitimate beef with Sean, there are ways to go about seeking restitution. But signing up on Net 54 and immediately morphing into "snotty-teenager mode" is not the way to do it. Thus far you have portrayed yourself as an uneducated, vindictive, arrogant twit, and I don't exactly know what it is you hope to accomplish here. Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody, is going to take up your cause, or come to your defense. All you can hope to accomplish now is to elevate your narcissistic diatribe to exist in the pantheon of Net 54's great topics, such as "Bruce Dorskind suing the archive", or "the nun's Wagner".

Bill

I don't understand the thinking that one member has more "Leeway" to speak out than any other. It seems all members should have the same freedoms as others. Maybe you could make a list of the upper echelon members so us low level guys know who not to question.

I'd like to add, just finished negotiating a deal with Sean on some cards. The guy is top notch, maintains great communication and offers solid pricing on his cards. He'll take care of you when it comes down to it. He's good people in my book

Edit to add: I've also referred buyers to Sean and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

I don't mind some of the nasty threads if there is at least some humor or intelligence in existence. Can anyone point to either here? (Excepting Wonka's pictures )

So just for kicks, can we get the back story on this latest "Made for Net54" mini-series? Never mind, just perused the other thread.

Great pics Wonka.

This whole thing is so what Net54 is not about.

LOL. You are right... while I am no longer a regular there, I was for many years.

After a while it gets old when every thread is a flamefest and everyone is elbowing to be the biggest personality and the funniest guy in the room.

One day I hope to be a hobby somebody...I aspire to be treated with respect and dignity worthy of the way I have acted and treated people in the hobby around me. I aspire not to be a complete baby with empty threats, petty jealousy, and a lack of credibility.

OK guys. Neutral corners. Give it a days rest and then try spelling out your concerns about each other.
