Derek, thanks again for reaching out to me and trading me these two "NM beauties" (hey, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," right?) for my Sam Rice collection from your fantastic RC collection. It's great when a trade greatly enhances both collectors' collections!

Condition-wise, this Boston Store closely resembles the only other Sam Rice RC "NM beauty" I already had, which is a Collins-McCarthy example. Now, the only ad back 1917 Rice I am missing is the D350-2 Standard Biscuit - anyone have one they are willing to sell or trade? I also wouldn't mind acquiring a 1917 E135 blank back of Rice, although I am partial to cards with ad backs.
Val

I agree, Buddy. That Tinker is a beauty. Great color on it. Congratulations, Adam!

I love CJ 14s but find most of the poses rather lame, and redundant. But this is one of my favorite--great pose and uniform and attitude. Looks like a HOFer.

Too bad it isn't a HOFer. That is a nice pose of the other Wags.

Excellent, Mark. And as you rebuild that part of your collection, you have a nice place to display them. Win win!

Good luck with hunting down those other cards. I look forward to seeing them.

Bill

Val - my 2014 collecting goal will be to upgrade your Boston Store to something more suitable!! I loved working w/ you on a trade!! I learned more about Sam Rice than I bargained for, but it was worth it!

Derek, you are too kind! I echo what you said about working together to achieve a "win - win" trade. And, I truly appreciate your 2014 collecting goal, but I'd rather you amend it to finding me a 1917 Standard Biscuit of Rice! FYI, I have lots of "poor" cards in my collection - you should see some of my WaJos - and, I love each and every one of them!
Best,
Val
