Just realized something after looking at all the Cobb cards posted... awhile back, someone posted a comment (more of a criticism) about the Cobb card having no neck. For some reason it just clicked that what we're likely seeing is the artist's attempt to make it look like Cobb has his collar pulled all the way up, similar to what we see on the T206 Cobb bat off card.
Such a classic card, the T205 Cobb... I forgot about the Zach Wheat card (nice copies, guys). What a cool, stoic pose. |
