No..we could not separate the card from the bottom of the ceramic ashtray.. I recall we had no type of proper cutting tool... so a hammer was used to break the walls of the ashtray..then trying to peel the card from this glob of glass was a mess..every corner of the card ..in an attempt to peel it.. got dog eared / paper separation /but the front of the card was glued so strongly it never came off the glass
