In late 1971 which was my 2nd full year as a So Cal baseball card dealer i put
together 12 complete sets and i repeated something similar every year til the mid 80s now it took me 4 years to sell them all, the hot card, at least in the west coast was Dodger rookie pitcher Sandy Vance who was expected to be the next Sandy Koufax,, i sold out of my 1972,73 and 74 sets before i sold those 12 1971 sets at that time 1972 topps was king by far!!
