congratulations on quite an important and interesting collection.
you'll never really retire, will you?! For my type photo collection(examples from each vintage and modern photographer and major presses), I have thoroughly enjoyed the times I have acquired relatively unknown major leaguers,e.g. my van oeyen of clark from the 1920 Indians, my burke photo of Planeta of the 31 Giants, and bain's 1913 photo of Parson Perryman. I'm eager to see how your McCarthy finds turn out with respect to this 'relatively unknown' rubric. I have a McCarthy baumholtz photo along with the matching PC but baumholtz doesn't fit the rubric well.I'll be eager to see your collection unfold. again, congrats barry |
