Nice Waz...runs are great to keep things interesting when your primary collecting goals are quiet.

Waz,

I think it's a great idea, and that is a great pose also.

Cheers,

John

Always a good idea to start with the 'tough' ones and work down. That Hindu is a great start!

Yes I think it's going to be difficult to find an El Principe De Gales one though.

And beautiful card John. I love the overprint and grade!

Waz,

I sold an EPDG of this card a PSA 5 in the set I sold this year in REA.

http://www.robertedwardauctions.com/.../2013/189.html

Not sure how tough it is I'm sure there others out there. If it is really tough you know where one is. Then perhaps you can ask Rob or Brian of REA to contact the new owner and see if you can work something out.

Cheers,

John

Beautiful card! I'll see what I can do. I'm going to be at the White Plains East Coast National, so I'm hoping to find it there. Who knows? If not, maybe another backed Schlei. I'll find it eventually. Thank you.

Oddly I just started my first back run with the Admiral Schlei portrait. Had the Uzit so that seemed like a good start.

Rumor has it that the next Sterling auction will have a lot of trimmed EPDGs that includes Schlei.

Don't be surprised if the Old Mill is tougher than the El Prince. Those early series cards are sometimes tougher than you think with Old Mill.

I'll second what Mik'e saying. Over the span of about 7 years I put together a back run of a player with a similar back selection on two different occassions. The Hindu was in a league of it's own for difficulty, but after that it was the Old Mill that proved to be the most difficult to find. The EPDG was probably third, followed by the P350.

Anyway, it sounds like you're off to a great start. Enjoy the rest!

And props to Kawika. You're a class act.

Regards,

Richard.
