I really have no-one to share with anymore. Wastelands of Florida and far from the the fruitful northeast (no real shows or antiqueing here) and not one friend here who collects anything. I'm not one that wants to experience my hobby in issolation - the people and interactions are part of the fuel and story. Add to the equation a wife that really cares little about this stuff (other than it should probaby go) and all the responsibility that comes with an accumulation like this - it's a double-edged sword. My collection is a nice diversion - and feels comfortable - like an old friend - but they are only inanimate things - and they only come to life when they get attention.

I was asked about this unusual die-cut pair so to further avoid doing anything I really should be doing - I took a few pix...... The store on the approx. 16" x 17" die-cut easily stands alone as a display. The one on the left (approx. 11" x 14") has a strange pair of intersecting manufactured "cuts" or lines suggestive of sumptin - another piece(?) - I'm just not sure what? The pairing of the two is obviously correct for many reasons - it's the manner in which they would have been displayed as well the cuts in the one piece that is a bit mysterious to me. In any event - I've had it 15+ years. I have never removed it from the original framing which quite honestly I REALLY don't like - but I've been unwilling and unable to do anything about it. It's a neat piece and likely one of a kind........

Your collection is captivating. Your diversity of holdings must have taken many years to acquire. You indicate that things are in a bit of chaos--
my paraphrase--but there seem to be undercurrent themes running through the various displays. Could you illuminate them a bit for us admirers of such a treasure trove or troves, I should say. thanks for sharing. all the best, barry |

I've seen Henry's stuff in person, and it's even more impressive being there. And he hasn't even shown you his rocks and minerals collection yet. Do you have a picture you can share with us?
