scotty...the whole RC thing is getting weird?!?! If I look at Ty Cobb RC's...I can choose from postcards...to caramels...to team postcards?!?!? And now with Ruth it's the prookie...vs the m101-4/5...vs now the team card?!?! While I like the team photo to see all of the babe's teammates in his rookie season...that's cool! But I wouldn't consider a team photo a rookie card?!?!
When I started collecting in the late 70's....the m101/4-5 was the ruth rookie...if one even considered what a "rookie" was back then. I never knew about the balt news card until much later in life? SO while the balt news has become the ultimate ruth rookie...personally the m101/4-5 is the rookie to me...and a team photo will never be a rookie...although it is a great way to get a cheap early ruth...but not in rea's case!!!!!
