215 for a ball is laughable, IMHO. EDITED: sorry, I didn't even come close to addressing the question. This is how I got Nolan Ryan TTM. I think it is a completely reasonable way to get a ball from a player. If you really want an auto, I think that $70 is on the high-end of fair, but its cheaper than you would pay at a card show. Nolan Ryan also puts a hologram on the ball (as did Musial, I hear) which presumably ups the resale. I send a lot of stuff to guys who do private signings, which I feel is similar...you don't have the pride(?) associated with getting an auto via TTM or in person, but hey, it still looks good in my collection ![]() Last edited by cubsfan-budman; 05-14-2013 at 08:34 AM. |
