How about the 1969 Brian (Bryon) Piccolo football card? It is his rookie card, but Piccolo's career was certainly nothing remarkable. His death was tragic, and was the topic of Brian's Song. But, the value of his rookie card from the 1969 set is comparable to that of Hall of Famer Larry Csonka. Certainly that seems a bit out of whack.
