Goudy R303B Set. Should I pick it up?
Hi All;
I have a chance to pick up an ungraded set of R303B Goudy Premiums. Don't know much about them. Can anyone provide current value assuming it is in nice shape? Are they desireable/collectible? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Fred |

The stars would do fine. I do know they are quite large, and I have had the complete set before in the past. Cards that looked to be 7/8's got hammered with 4/5 grades. The grading companies are unusually tought on the issue. There is not much demand for the set, so I do hope you are able to pick them up rather cheaply.

I believe I saw a nice set go recently for about $1500. But please don't quote me on that. Point being look at past auctions at the big houses.....there is a recent sale somewhere in there.

I want to say that I paid around $700-$900 for a complete raw set several years ago. I had everything graded and sold the complete graded set for around $1,300-$1,500. Just not much love for the set.....
