I've been reading about how many of our forum members use binders + sheets to store their vintage cards. Well, I have one binder which had some of my favorite cards growing up (most of which are only worth a few bucks, as it turns out, as there were soooo many cards made in the 80's). But the cards I'm finding have stuck to the sheets. So, my question is this. Which sheets should I use? And, are sheets better now than they were say 10 years ago? I, too, would like to be able to flip through a binder for a set as I like to look at my cards. The more expensive ones would still be stored in a one touch and graded team bag/stored in a box, and I'd probably get another card of slightly less quality to fill the set for looking through.
Please educate me on the sheets I should be looking at, as well as which binders are ideal for baseball cards. If you guys could provide information on which sheets work best for a particular set, that would be most helpful! Ie for Bowman 1948-1951 I use these sheets. Thank you all!!

I'm exclusively Ultra Pro platinum for my sets. I have every set from 1954 to today in three inch Ultra Pro binders with a representative card on the outside pocket and all cards in pages inside.
The onl real challange is smaller sets (i.e. pre 1957) where the set doesn't fill up the entire 3 inch binder. For those I have created a custom "pillow" that sits behind the pages and fills the gap in the binder. |

You can easily fit a 660 card set in the 3-ring binders. Larger sets start getting tight (particularly in my case where I also add the insert sets)

I don't know about the Ultra Pro binders but I use D-ring binders, not O-ring binders, for my sheets. Just the typical binders that you can purchase at Target or similar type stores.
Are Ultra Pro binders more sturdy? And are they D-ring? |

This is what I'm looking at, the Ultra Pro 3" D-ring binder. Plain black, a place to hold a card on the outside to make identification easier, foam padded.

That sounds like them. 3" inch D ring binders. They come in either black or blue. I get a little bit OCD and use the same colors for each decade (blue for the 1960's, black for the 1950's etc.)
