This thread again points out that there is simply no way to bring perfect consistency to what is largely a subjective activity. Nevertheless, I am a fan of TPG because I believe it facilitates long-distance transactions by generally ferreting out fraudulent and altered cards. What strikes me as foolhardy is attaching so much significance to grades so as to justify the large disparity in values, especially at the high end.
