Expected, perhaps. Deserved, hardly. No evidence has emerged that he was engaged in anything other than sitting in a car doing coke at the time he was shot in the face. Bad behavior to be sure, but hardly worthy of a death sentence. I don't think anything bad he ever did that we know of deserved death.

I was clearly struggling to find a way to word that properly. I don't think he was deserving, nor do I think he wasn't deserving of it...

Compared to similar deaths, such as Lyman Bostock, who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, Camacho had a least put himself in a position in life where this was a very possible outcome.. Again, I can't say anyone deserves that fate, but I can't say that he didn't either..

For athletes who live troubled lives, things always seem to get worse once their career is over and the structure that perhaps kept the problems in check or perspective goes away. A very sad story and a very inglorious demise.
