Yup. I've assembled and sold off several sets once the thrill of the chase is over and I realize what I have into them. One thing that works for me is that over the last few years I've collected mainstream postwar stuff [1950s-1960s] in low grade--lets me get the cards I want at prices that don't tempt me to sell off later on.
