I am a team collector. I collect the Yankees. ALL Yankees. This allows me to buy a 1906 Fan Craze or a 2012 Update Topps card, and everything inbetween.

I find this is a fantastic way to collect, as you wind up with such a varied collection. I have great old cards from the early 1900's yet still look forward to each new set coming out now as I want the Yankees from all years.

I try to get my hands on EVERY Yankee card i can from 1980 and older, and on 1981 thru current i try to get every Yankee card that i like, there are too many modern cards to collect all of them as they dont all interest me, but i have a good representation of each year.

I do like the old cards best, 1960 and older, but love them all.

My collection has everything from N172's to a full 1981 Topps hockey wax box.

As much as I'd like to be a disciplined collector it just isn't going to happen....and I'm OK with that.
