They look similar to the hard rubber figures found in some older baseball-themed pinball machines. It there a hole in the bottom?

D'oh! Excellent thought, Rick. Hadn't occurred to us to look at arcade games for a match.
Haven't been hands-on with one of these, and this is the best pic we have of one -- so it's hard to say, but could they be from Scientific Machine's 1939-41 Scientific Batting Practice? ![]()

Unless they were made out of sterling silver, I don't see how the dealer is asking $2,895 for the set of 10.....

I agree. At least the rest of the machine should go with it. They have them marked down to $1995.00. Even at that price they are still over priced.

That's funny - I have the lighted top display for that machine.
Just picked up a fantastic unrestored 1939 baseball pinball machine today... I will post pictures in the pick-up thread tomorrow. |
