Default Bench/Wills

David---the SCD Standard Catalog lists that item as a Topps 1980 Sticker prototype. It lists 4 other dual player prototype stickers, none of which I have ever seen. The checklist notes the error of Maury versus Bump. The description says the photos come from earlier covers of SI. It says the evidence that these items are Topps products is anecdotal. Maybe Bob Lemke can weigh in with more.

It maybe similar to this circa 1977 item, which I also have and which also purports to show a well know Red, and may also be or not be a Topps prototype item...with similar type errors

Those puffy stickers are interesting. Only Reggie Jackson is correct, the rest are either made up players, or have wrong info.

Where did you get them?

Default Puffy Stickers

David---bought this item from a dealer in Norcross, Georgia many years back

All the errors make me think it may be a legitimate prototype item. If someone was creating a fake why would they make such a mess

Or maybe designed for a market where they don't follow baseball much (Europe, Asia....), hence only Reggie is pictured correctly, as he was probably world famous in the late 70's?
