The above should close the door on that one. I agree with the posts that suggest a clever method being used these days to forge autographs are old envelopes which can be bought by the boat load on e-bay. Also I have seen BAD signed government postcards WITH POSTMARKS ! So the postmark alone does not insure authenticity
BUT the #1 concern should always be BUY from someone thats been around awhile (Collectors or dealers) and has built a solid reputation with expertise in baseball autographs. Suspect autographs always seem to come from a source that no one has ever heard of. _____________________________ Vintage autographs for sale daily pm me for details
