There are also several Holiday Inn-type chain hotels just outside the village limits on route 28. They are reasonably priced, but you have to drive into town, and now there is not as much free parking as there once was (10 dollars to park for the day in the Doubleday Field parking lot.
My son had a game at Doubleday Field on Memorial Day afternoon, and we were shocked at how quiet it was in town.
