Personally,
From a courtesy point of view...5 days is pushing it unless prior arrangements/notifications have been made. If no contact has been made by the buyer, people tend to get a little jumpy and with the way EBAY has been lately (non paying bidders, etc) I am not surprised or can't blame the seller for doing so.
