No big scores on modern cards, but I've found some really nice stamps that were either mislisted or had unnoticed varieties that are valuable. One is one of 5-6 originally sold, and went for about 1/4 of the catalog price of a normal version. Another catalogs about 500 but was listed from Norway with the variety not mentioned and scheduled to end at 10AM EST on Easter Sunday.
Local auctions I've done well once in a while. I missed this during the preview, I think they had it behind the table on a chair so I figured it was just someones jacket. Announced as a braves jacket belonging to Ernie Lombardi and consigned by a family that was friends with him. (Yes, Very sceptical about the player, although it is really large...) Beat up, but I'm pretty sure it is a braves warmup late 30's-early 40's. It went for just 100. A shame what was probably a name was cut off the white leather side at one time. Steve B
