I think I'm done buying raw cards on Ebay
I think I'm done buying raw cards on the bay. I recently bought a couple hundred raw 1958's. The pics weren't real good, so I messaged the seller with a real simple question: "what percentage of the cards have creases?". Unfortunately, too many sellers think cards all creased up are still in Ex-NM. The seller responded "I just Flipped through 40-50 and not one crease.". So I took the plunge.
Fast forward a week.....out of about 200 cards, 60 cards have creases (many really bad) and another 20 have MK, PL, pinholes, etc. The other 120 aren't all that "excellent" either. Not surprising, the seller won't respond to any emails despite stating returns accepted. I'm simultaneously venting and raising the white flag on eBay. Certainly Not the the first time this has happened either. I'd ask if anyone has a similar story, but I suspect we have all had numerous similar experiences.
