I could be wrong, but I think this is not the same "NCAA" you are thinking of that exists today and I bet it stand for something else like "North Carolina Athletic Association" or something. I dont think Baseball held NCAA championships until the 1930's and this does not look like a Championship calibur College Baseball team either, they would have been very well unifomred and equiped especially for a team photo with their championship banner.
